I am tired.  And Monday is a perfect day to B&M.

Boo @ tired.  If it helps, I got up to go to an interview at 11am and he just called to reschedule.  *grumbles*

As for Monday B&Ming, it reminds me of this skit Bill Cosby used to do in his standup.  The weekends are supposed to be a time we relax and enjoy life so we are refreshed to go back to work on Monday.  Why does it never work out that we are refreshed and happy to be up and perky on Mondays?

Had a decent (and overall uneventful weekend) ... and couldn't sleep last night.
Got about 3 solid hours... I should have gone back to sleep when DH left for work, but I didn't.

On a fun note - going to IKEA with mom & sis today to buy some furniture for our bedroom!

I Ikea so much!  I don't even have to buy anything.  I just love going through their little rooms for ideas.  Have fun in there but wear comfy shoes ;P It's so big!

Haha yeah, when Albert and I go, he now sets a time limit   I could spend all day.  He limits me to 1 hour before he is ready to go.

I think I am actually going to have a real excuse to get him to go this time around.  I need some cute frames for table numbers

I got nothing except I'm tired too because Sir Snores-a-lot showed up last night instead of my husband. So count me in the lack of sleep group. However, I'm going over to the Grand Floridian to get a mani/pedi this afternoon so I'm sure I will be dozing in my chair. BTW, you can't turn on the TV in this town without hearing about the Casey Anthony trial. It's very interesting actually.

I have a dr appt this morninng so this is a p&r. 

I told my Dad that I had a drs appt, since I just found out Friday afternoon, and there was no one there for me to tell. Well he forgot, and just called to ask where I was. I will be getting in trouble when I get there I'm sure. 

Also, I love my dog but he's been so clingy and difficult lately. He noticed I was out of bed and getting ready to leave, so he got off the bed and ran under the bed, so I couldn't put him up. It took 3 tries with a squeaky toy to get him and put him back on the bed. 

In other news, Courtney and I got lost Saturday. We ended up in Ghetto-ville part of irving. The truck in front of us had mexican flags on the windows and a light show on the inside. It was crazy. I also saw one of my high school classmates at the Racetrac we stopped at. She was outside getting chewed out about breakfast sandwiches. I know it's mean...but she was mean in High School, so I giggled a little. Or a lot. whichever you prefer.

My only B&M is that, thanks to our engagement party Saturday, my apartment is overflowing with stuff and I have even more to clean, but that's not really anything to complain about.  The party was way fun, food was amazing, and we got some really neat (also useful) gifts.

Count me in the Lack of Sleep club too!! My dog woke me up early sneezing a lot. I couldn't go bak to bed.

On the bright note-I get to see my bridals today!!!!!!!!! On the bad note-Rosie has a vet appointment today for yearly shots. I'm not wanting to spend that kindda money today :-(

Not B&Ming but I just found this really nice pen that has "The Knot-wedding network" on it with a nice soft grip! Plus it's a clicky pen too! I have no idea where I got it.

My B&M is about inconsiderate brides.  I wish I could elaborate on here, but I can't.

Saturday FI spent three hours with my dad trying to get his interior door panel and exterior door handle off his truck.  Someone tried to break into it over a month ago and ruined the lock cylinder (the part you put your key into -- he doesn't have a clicker).  Anyway, it takes forever because there are no videos on how to do it and reaching some of the bolts takes nothing short of a miracle.  We pull the part out we bought from AutoZone annnnnd it doesn't fit.  Awesome.  We go back to AutoZone and they show in their system that is the part that matches his truck year, model, etc.  Check with NAPA and O'Reilly and same issue and by this time the dealerships were closed.  Had to go back to my parents house, put the whole door back together unfixed, etc.  So six hours later, the door is still broken and we missed Shakespeare in the Park AGAIN.  FI was not a happy camper at all...

Eh, nothing really to B&M about other than just being awake and @ work. I did sleepily forget my access badge, which sucks but isn't the end of the world.

Julie--I saw on CNN this morning about a hotel in Kissimmee that was 'close' to WDW...hopefuly thats not where you're staying!! I think that if I were that close to Orlando I would be one of those crazies racing to the courthouse for a seat. I've been watching this shatshow for 3 years waiting for the trial.

Angelsong--please elaborate on your 'inconsiderate bride' comment, you can't dangle that kind of a carrot without spilling!

Spent an awesome weekend with FI in his hometown, got up early this morning to head back for work... my normally 2 hour drive took 3. Thank you 114 construction and random stalled cars in the construction zone

In non B&M news: 4 day week next week means no Monday! YAY!

My B&M is that I had to miss the G2G saturday!  I was so excited to go, but my bridals ran long and by the time I got back to my IL's house, FMIL had dinner ready and I didn't want to be rude and leave. 

On a side note, my bridals went great!  I saw some unedited pics and I was impressed!  The ladies I worked with did a phenomenal job!  There was a bit of drama though bc FMIL accidentily got blood on my dress.  I wasn't worried bc I knew it would come out (those Tide to go pens work wonders), but she was so upset!  I was more worried about her bc she did a number on her finger and was bleeding alot (she sloced it on a rose bush thorn).

I also practiced making bouquets and think I got the hang of it!  Who needs florists? I have youtube.

@ Kendall and courstki -- I wish I could spill more out here but I can't.  But for the record it has NOTHING to do with anyone that we are familiar with on this board.  I just don't know if this person ever lurks here and I don't want to get in trouble if she does!

Courtney, I could have easily sat in the room all day today and watched it on TV but I would have been out $100 if I missed my appt. They are showing it all live locally and do recaps every night. Today, defense was cross examining the police about why they only focused on Casey and not other family members. Uh, hello, she went out partying for a month and said that some babysitter had her and didn't report her own daughter missing until her own parents pressed her. On the whole topic of doing chit chat as opposed to B&M on Monday--nearly every day turns into chit chat. What's the big deal?

It's not a big deal, I think Kendall was just trying to start the week off on a positive rather than a negative... could be wrong, but that's what I got from it :)

Well I guess my only B&M is that it's Monday, but on a happier note, I got to personally talk to sparklingdiamond and she's such a sweetheart! I'm happy I found a friend on here! [haha.. I kinda sound like a hippy].

Also, I ordered my save the dates last week, and they are too cute. I can't wait to go home and see them!

Thanks! I haven't been around a whole lot since I got engaged in March because of school, but now that it's summer I can start being around more. I'm excited, you guys seem like a great group of people!
