NWR- Need a Vet

My cat is in heat and need to get her spayed stat. Anyone have a vet that they can recommend? We are in the Irving area but I am willing to go almost anywhere in the metroplex.

(Yes I know I should had her spayed earlier. Procrastinators Unite!...tomorrow.)

We go to North Dallas Veterinary Hospital off Forest (Between Marsh and Webb Chapel) and Dr. Ford is really great. My entire family take their pets there (and have for years) so I know we can trust them. They're usually pretty fast to schedule an appointment, too.

    Good luck!

I have tried a few vets and the best I found was Country Friends in Royse City....which may be to far for you but it is a great vet clinic

We use Dr. Gillard and staff at Legacy Drive Animal Clinic (or similar name).  Number is 972-517-2828.  They're in Plano off of Legacy (duh) between the Tollway and 75.

We use Perky Paws in McKinney for our vet and LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr Farmer.

Our cocker had a checkup recently and while they were running her bloodwork my 5 yo decided he was starving. She kept him so we could run down the street and when I got back she had like 5 pics of Maggie on her iPhone that she was showing me. She was laying on her back being silly. It was really sweet. You can tell how much she really loves her patients!!!

BUT! For a cheap spay.. check out the SPCA. $55 at the Dallas clinic and $60 at the McKinney clinic! We had Maggie microchipped and spayed there at the same time and they were awesome!

We use Hanks Animal Hospital in Plano.  It is near downtown Plano and I have found that they have really good prices.

Banfield in petsmart is the way to go! i've had my dog and cat there since i got them (9 and 8 years old) and i have them on a wellness plan that covers spaying/neutering, all their shots, visits, etc. and  discount on meds and other stuff.

I'm a little late to the convo -  but we use Midway Hollow Pet Clinic - I've never had any issues - Lola's been going there for 3 years.  And they did a minor surgical procedure and all went well.  LOVE them!!
