Diana - I love that you have an AR-15... and also that nobody noticed/knew what it was to comment on it.  DH wants one very badly.

re: Prom... when I was in HS (in a small town, not in this area), we rented out the civic center and decorated it floor to ceiling.  We went out to dinner ahead of time, and then would try to find a fun afterparty to go to.  Now, they travel to nicer hotels out of town... but I loved our prom, and all the hard work that went into decorating for it.  (Side note:  our reception was held at the same place as my high school prom.  I'm cool like that.)

To all you teachers... I'm so sorry you're going through this, and I think it's a total crock.  Education is the last thing that should be on the chopping block.

One last thing... I really miss this board.  I don't have time at my new job to get on, and by the time I get here in the evenings, nobody is around anymore.  So that's my B&M for today.

I was thinking that you hadn't been on lately.  How are you doing with DH away?  Keeping busy?
