Kegerator?

So I was trying to figure out what tha fancy thing to dispense beer was called.  So I came across the term 'kegerator'.  Is there a place to rent this or do people just build it for personal/bar use and it's not really rented out?  I have no idea where to start.  I googled it, but pretty much just found places to buy parts to build your own.  I'm pretty sure I don't need a kegerator after this.  Anyone know?

Thanks!

Try Centennial. I know the Addison Event Center recommends someone (maybe Siegels ?) cause they mentioned their clients get a discount.

I just know Centennial is all over the metroplex, though

ETA: This is for rentals, sorry. I had too much wine tonight

You can rent kegs out from liquor stores. I know goody goody does them for sure, not sure about the smaller liquor stores.

I knew about the kegs.. just not the kegerators.  But I spoke with a bartender and they said if you know how to work the keg correctly, it would be just as efficient as a kegerator.

    Thanks for the help though.

Kegerators are more for long-term consumption of a keg.  I have friends that buy pony kegs and hook them up to the kegerators.  It keeps the beer carbonated and fresh, like you were drinking it from the tap at the bar.

If it is only a 1 night ordeal, then you don't need it.  I've seen them sold at Best Buy and Fry's.
