looking for a budget friendly honeymoon packages! we would love to go somewhere with mountains!  we love the outdoors! any suggsestions? Smile

    You can go to Colorado pretty inexpensively, especially if you're willing to drive. I really like the San Juan mountain range. It is in the southwest area of Colorado, near Durango.

    Last weekend we went to Sandpoint, ID (northern Idaho, in the panhandle) for my brother's wedding.  It was the most beautiful place I have ever been...and I've done a lot of traveling.  I don't know what kind of packages they would offer, but I would definitely look into it.  It's a resort town so there is a ton of stuff to do.  Lake Pend O'Reille is absolutely serene.  Beautiful.  FI and I decided we will absolutely be going back there.

    We went to Colorado for our honeymoon.  You can drive there or fly without spending too much.  We flew from DFW to Denver for $99 each, one-way.  We would've driven but we didn't want to waste too much time just getting there. 


    I'm not sure if they have any packages necessarily, I think that's something that all-inclusive resorts or cruises are known for.
