Mii's Bridal

I need to have a quick (hopefully) vent here.  I ordered a BM dress for my brother's wedding and had it rush shipped.  I called about a month ago to check the status of it and was told it would be here for me to pick up June 4th, so I made an appointment for June 5th to have alterations done.  I called today to verify---and after being told 4 times that they would call me back--AND DIDNT, I finally got a lady on the phone who told me that the dress wasnt even being shipped until June 7th.  They bascially led on like I was a crazy girl that made up a date that my dress would be there.  They were very rude.  All of a sudden the manager got on the phone and started yelling at me saying they would cancel the dress. I live almost 100 miles outside of Dallas and made other appointments in the area on this day to get everything done in 1 trip..now I not only have to go this weekend for my other appts..but once more to get fitted in the dress-and another to pick up the altered dress.  Did I mention this wedding is in 3 weeks?!
I should have known better.  I am not from down here and really dont have many friends so when I went shopping for the dress I went alone..not one person in the store helped me, or even asked if I was doing okay.  They were all standing around gossiping.
Basically... save yourself a headache and don't make an appointment at this store.

That's completely unprofessional of the manager... I would complain up the chain (AFTER you get your dress in hand).  What an awful experience!

Oh, wow.  That's terrible...I hope that you do inform someone of clout of the horrendous dealings the employees are conducting...I would probably have been on the phone that day with someone.
I hope it all works out.  It will...

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience.  Several of us have gone there and had really good experiences.  The few times that I have bought a dress as a rush they always warned me that it was possible that the dress might not be there in time.

    BSN,
The manager pretty much owns the store.  It's not part of a chain or anything.

Ugh, that's no good then.  I would definitely recommend going in and speaking with them... calmly.  :)

It was pretty shitty.  Very disappointed, but what can I do?!  I need the dress, so I just have to suck it out and deal.  My plan is to pick up my dress and take it elsewhere for alterations.  Got any recommendations?!

What got to me is that they told me 6-8 weeks, and by the time my dress gets here it will have been 10-which I know is out of their control.  What really made me upset was I couldn't get a returned call and when I finally got someone to talk to me and I asked why I had been told the 4th and they started yelling at me saying they never said that.
Customer service was poor....live and learn, right?!

Becky Fowler for alterations 972-986-8067She's in Irving, but totally worth the drive.  She's got excellent prices.

Or Balletbride knows of someone in Rockwall I believe.

Becky Fowler is definitely the best.

Is there someone in your town that can alter your dress so you don't have to make an extra trip into Dallas?

I had a similar experience with the delivery date and attitude but mine was not rushed.

I think BalletBride used Diane Hall.  Something like that.
