I had my bridals yesterday!!! I had a blast after finally getting to the arboretum to begin shooting! Everything leading up to that has made me super nervous about the actual wedding day going on without a hitch...here's the rundown
First, we were late out of our meeting at the Old Red b/c my mother, who hates my wedding planner, and my wedding planner couldn't decide on what linens would be best and where everything should go for the rehearsal - HELLO??? BRIDE over here!! I am totally going to have to keep them separated during the wedding!
Second, that means we were running late to the makeup - we had to drive from Downtown Dallas back up to Little Elm near Denton.
Third, that made us late for hair - back over at my parents house near the arboretum - 30 mins late!
Fourth, while my hair girl was there waiting for us she neglected to check her bag to make sure she had everything....by the time I got there my planner was there and so was the hair girl. They proceeded to spend 15mins outside "talking and bringing things into the house." Well come to find out she had forgot my extensions!!! OMG!!!! REALLY?!?! What to do now?!?
Fifth, I'm pissed at this point. Hair girl finally finds "extra hair" in her bag and makes extensions on the spot for me. (Good news: my hair turned out really good and I will have brand new extensions for the wedding instead of having to reuse the ones from the bridals)
Sixth, only one photographer was going to be doing the shoot - I thought both of them would be there....and the one that takes better shots was not planning on coming. Planner called and told him that I wanted him there so he came!!! I LOVE HIM!!!!
So....all in all we were about 20 mins late to the shoot (oh and they had given away the room we rented at the arboretum b/c we were late - mom was MAD...needless to say we got the room back and the other bride, that I was happy to share the room with, never showed up) but it went wonderfully well!!!! Although hot - we had a blast!
