    Dear mom,
Much like last week, quit messaging me on facebook!  If you want to talk to me-call me! Or e-mail me at work!  A message on facebook from you feels so impersonal.  So YES I did get your message yesterday, but NO I am not responding to it until you realize that picking up the phone and calling me is a better option.  It pisses me off that you wait for me to call you all the time.  I thought maybe you were getting over whatever problems you were having before, but I guess I was wrong.  It's going to take more than a few months of you being "better" for me to get over all the anger and hurt you've caused me to have towards you the past 25 years.
-your daughter, who loves you, but gets extremely frustrated with you.

    Dear My favorite foods,

During the past year... we've had some good times.  The 30 pounds you have caused me to gain is just too much to handle right now with the wedding and all.  For that... we must break up.

It's not you... it's me.  I can't control myself around you.

    Love, Kelly

PS - See you at the wedding!!  :)

    Dear sweet past knottie,

I am so sorry you lost your puppy last night.  I don't know what I will do when Chuck dies, but it won't be pretty.  My prayers are with you and your husband.

    Your friend,
    Jessica

That's so sad....what kind of surgery was he having?  I don't know what I'd do if that were to happen to Anna...I know she won't live forever, but still...

    Jess/Mariah,

I don't know who you are referring to, but I know how hard it is to lose a pet and my thoughts are with the former knottie.  I lost my 16-year old dog a few years back (I'd had him since I was 6!) and it was exteremly hard.  My mom even said it was like losing a child because he'd been around so long...gah, I'm actually tearing up as I write this!  Losing a pet is so hard, but the joy they bring when they are alive is so worth it.

Dear Former Knottie I Don't Know,
I'm sorry about your dog.  We had to put down a cat two years ago for the first time in family history and it was the hardest thing ever.  I'll keep you two in my thoughts!

    Dear Mom,
Yes, I know you're sick but you haven't seen your husband of 39 years since Friday.  Please suck it up and go visit him on the way home from your doctor's appointment.  You have a driver--make him take you!

    Dear Bill,
You have been extremely kind and generous towards my family.  I appreciate it more than you know and I am now even more sure that you were the perfect man for me.

    Dear Boss,
Please take your time coming back from AZ.  Kthnxbai.

    Dear Knotties,

She was only a year old and she was getting spayed.  She was in heat and they told her she may have some minor complications.  She died at home with my friend and she was really scared watching her.  I didn't know what to tell her because I thought Gus (the dog) was groggy from surgery.  I was wrong and now I feel so so bad.  It was just a routine surgery.  What the heck?

Sorry to be a post whore but I need to send another one to my mom....

    Dear Mom,
You've had vertigo for two weeks now and those pills haven't helped one bit!  Please go to the nurse practioner's physician and get a second opinion.  You can't go on like this especially since she doesn't need to see you again (in her opinion) for another month!

    Dear Jess,
That. Breaks. My. Heart.  Poor Caren.  :(

    Dear Knotties,
I will no longer be participating in B&M Monday...at least as long as I can stand it.  I'm trying to embrace positivity and remove negativity from my life, and I don't want to jump at the chance to complain. I'm not judging anyone who DOES! I just tend to complain a lot, so I'm going to try to stop.

    Dear Self,
Have I told you lately that you ROCK?

    Dear Jess,
The same thing happened to my daughter's dog (that was at her dad's).  Shortly after being spayed she went into kidney failure and died.  It was so heartbreaking.  The vet said sometimes the procedure will expose underlying medical or genetic problems not previously known.  I'm so sorry.

    Hugs,
    Steph

Dear knotties, I missed you!  TK has been running so slow on my work comp. I haven't even been able to lurk.  I don't want to jinx it, but it seems to be way quicker today. . .

Dear jiggly wiggly belly and thighs.

While it's been nice ignoring you, you keep expanding and I'm being faced with the realization that I must either take action against you, or buy new pants.  So you're forcing me back to the gym and I'm not at all happy about it.

    Dear students,
When you auditioned for this play you made a committment to come to rehearsals.  I'm sorry the athletics department didn't have their s#!t together and is scheduling cross country practice now, but you're going to have to make a choice.  I know it sucks, but that's just how it works.  If you skip any more rehearsals I'm giving your part to someone who's there.  Besides, wouldn't you rather be rehearsing inside where it's warm instead of running in the cold?!

    Dear Knotties,

I have been super MIA lately due to my travel schedule, but I wanted to announce some news...

    I'm having a baby!!!

We were NOT expecting this, but found out around Thanksgiving. I am 13 weeks preggo and due July 15th. I've also been MIA because I have been SOOOOO sick (still am). It has been a scary, exciting, anxious time, but we are ready to dive in and be parents. I never thought I'd be celebrating my 1 yr anniversary expecting, but such is life, right?

    Preggo, pukey, knottie,

    Emily

    Congrats Emi!

    Dear knotties,
Like the many posts before me, I've been MIA and missing you.  I've been on travel and work has been busy, so I can only keep up on my iPhone, and for some reason it won't let me post so I just gave up for a while.  But we're thinking about getting me a new laptop for home so that I don't have to seclude myself in the home office to check up on goings-on.  Yay functional computers!

    Dear J,
Great job going to the gym last night!  Keep it up!

    Dear Bad Self,

Have you not realized you are getting married in 3 months?! Because all you do is eat like a fat pig and that's not the way to lose weight. Do you really want to stare at your wedding pictures for the rest of you life knowing you could have looked better in them??

    Didn't think so...

    Love,
    The better half of you.

Dear Hubby, I love you.  Thank you so much for agreeing to commute to your new job for a few months to see if it is what you expected before we pick up and move and two and half hours away.  I know it will be hard and we won't see each other much but I would rather do this than move and regret it 2 months later.

Dear Self.  You suck at sticking to WW.  So, get your butt up and go to the gym on your lunch break.  Like now.
