Shower Invite Wording

Hey! My MOH is needing a little help with the wording for my bridal shower invites. One of my friends that sells Pampered Chef products (that I've registered for) wanted to make it a Pampered Chef party because they give you a free product and discounts on other items that people would buy for me from my registry at a party. I didn't want to make it just a Pampered Chef party though, beause I didn't want to take away from the fact that it's my Bridal Shower. I don't want PC to be the focus, you know? So how does this wording sound? Is it confusing? Do you guys have any other suggestions?

I think it is fine the way it is, but if it was me I would do a seperate little card with the PC info on it and not include it on the back.

Hey your shower is at the same time as my wedding!

I think the wording is fine as well. Will people be able to order PC products for you at the shower? I guess I've never seen one of these parties before, but do people bring gifts and then buy the product on top or is it a one or the other situation?

I think the wording looks fine, but I have the same question as Deepthi.

Maybe do what PP said and have the PC info on a separate insert?

    Otherwise, VERY pretty!

It's one or the other, not both, unless they want to do both. Basically if someone wants to get me something off of the PC registry they can order it at the party instead of ordering it online and having to deal with shipping costs. So should she put that I'm registered at Macy's, Pampered Chef, and Honeyfund on the back, and then a separate card for the PC info? Or should I put it all on the card?

Guess it makes more sense to keep on the same card then.

On a separate card or on the invite? Or does this whole thing sound tacky? I won't be offended if it is, I don't have my heart set on the PC part. My friend just wanted to do it for me so I could get a free product.

Ok,  here is what comes to mind.

I think the PC part is okay, but I would switch up the wording.  I would completely separate the consultant part and put it more toward the bottom.  That way it seems more informational rather than swaying them toward PC stuff?

    Something to the effect of:

Angela is registered at The Pampered Chef, Macys, and honeyfund.com.

Danielle C., a Pampered Chef consultant, will be available at the shower.

ETA:  I think it is fine to put it on the back.  It's a big no-no on wedding invitations of course, but a shower is kind of meant for gifts.   It's possible that people may not see it, though.

Is it tacky to have your bridal shower double as a PC party?

I have all sorts of feelings about this question.  I've re-written this post 3 times already. Oy.

I don't think it's tacky....but it may kind of take the fun out of it.  For my shower, I got to sit and visit with all of the ladies in my life and enjoy food and cake.   It would have been kind of awkward if they were perusing catalogs and deciding what to buy.  Plus, people love to watch you open what they bought for you (even though you picked it out) ... it's kind of part of the fun?

    I don't know.  :-/

I'm not sure.  I guess it really depends on your group?

That is a great point! I've always been a little uncomfortable with the whole thing anyways. I guess I can throw a PC party at another time.

Another thought:  What if you had it an hour before the shower starts and spread the word by mouth?

That sounds pretty good too. I'll talk to my MOH about it.
