Where is your and FI/DH's favorite date night spot?

Since I enjoyed Brianna's Questions of the day so much last week (it kept me entertained for a day at least), I figured I'd post one for today.

So, go...

I am in love with two things....

    1. is sushi, FI and I are constantly trying new sushi joints :)

    2. is spiral diner...OMG the best thing since sliced bread. I <3 good vegan food!! FI and I used to be vegan, so we still like to go there because the food is so excellent

We once went to a restaurant called Al Biernat's and the food was absolutely, hands down, the best meal we have ever had (but the price reflects it...it was over $200 for us two)

...Can you tell I just love to eat!! HAHAHA

    Ooo, good question!!

Let's see... anything hibachi/sushi!  We don't get to do date nights often since we have a little one... but definitely hibachi is our go-to date.

We go for the ole dinner and a movie. Dinner=any Brazilian Steakhouse (usually Rafain). If we're not in a movie mood, we go play in a Dart Tournament, which is more fun that it sounds! ;)

Maggiano's and Sambucca in Uptown.  Two of my favorite dates ever.
  • edited December 2011
Mmmm.... Maggianos or Patrizios.  I'm a big sucker for Italian.

We do the hibachi/sushi thing for a different reason and it's always fun.  I'm not a huge fan of sushi so we usually go and I get hibachi and he gets sushi and we share.

Splurge - Woodfire Kirby's on Greenville

Normal - We're into PF Chang's right now... Also, Fireside Pie's and Eno's Pizza in Bishop Art's. Ali Baba is a favorite and Buca di Beppo.

    Obviously, we also like food...

    We love to go eat at;

    1.Toshio's Japanese in Duncanville.
It is amazing! They have amazing sushi and food. A family member does their heating and air for the buidling, he told me it was the cleanest kitchen he has seen while on a job site.

    2. Texas Roadhouse
I love steak and the food is always so good.

    3. Giuseppe's Italian in Midlothian
It is never really busy in there for dinner, but I think they do a big lunch crowd. It is soo good and I always enjoy that it is quite in there. Rarely are there any other couples in there while we've been there for dinner.

Now that I'm thinking about this FI and I haven't really been on many date nights because of the past two years i've been away living at school.

Ben and I don't go out on dates anymore.  *sigh*

We love Grimaldi's in West Village.  We also love a Thai place called Bankok City.  For sushi, usually Nobu or Steel (in Dallas).  We like to follow any of those up with drinks at the Library at the Melrose.

  • edited December 2011
We also love love love sushi. Our favorite places are Steel and Naan.

    Nobu is always good too.

We also love Al Biernat's for special occassions.. that's where we went for the night we got engaged.

We like going to the Shops at Legacy.. dinner at Naan or Ra or Cafe Istanbul and then wine at Cru.

We also like Vino 100 in uptown.

I LOOOOOE Al Biernat's! Their coconut Cream Pie is to die for.

We go to Loft 610 in Frisco, or Kenny's in Addison. FI is cute and wants Outback for his first meal when he returns to the states, so I guess you could say that's our regular place...

One of our favorite places is Ferre in downtown Fort Worth, and its where we are having our rehearsal dinner - so excited! Our new favorite place is Patrizzio's though since they just opened one in FW not too long ago, its soo good.

We like to go to dinner just about anywhere (except sushi...ekkk I said bad words)!  Then we go to a movie!

A recent favorite was going to PF Chang's downtown Ft. Worth and then walking around!

We are relatively simple and boring! Our favorite place is On the Border followed by a movie!

We never go on date nights due to the fact we both work sucky jobs, which makes us work late on nights and weekends. Our date "day" is when we are both off together (he has Mondays off only and I'm random). So our date "days" include sleeping in, doing erronds, going out to lunch/dinner to random places, shopping, watching movies, taking our/my dog to the dog park, etc. If, and it's once in a random blue moon, we have a Fri or Sat night off, we will go out to eat to different places.

Before the weather turned we would go to the Galaxy Drive in Movie Theater down in Ennis, which was a lot of fun, but if you watch the second movie you don't get home til late.
