What recommendations do you have in regards to set-up? We're having a buffet for dinner, will seat 100 guests at the round tables, and will have a dance area. I just started thinking about where these things will be setup, along with the gift table, cake table, bar, DJ, etc. and was wondering what others have found to be the best way to use the space. Thank you!

I think we're going to have the sign-in and gift table in that front entryway, the bar set-up in the corner by that kitchen door, the cake table across from that in the other corner (still on that raised area).  The food will be buffet style set-up in the area right after the 3 stairs between the ramps.

The dance floor will be in the center with all tehround tables on either side. 

That's our plan for now, but I'm having my plannig meeting mid July with all my vendors so I'll let you know if anything changes!

Hey Ch10Ch, we had a 90 people reception at the Filter Building and I have a PDF of the floor plan (done in AutoCAD), if you give me your email address, I can email that PDF to you.

I like that we had the dancefloor kind of centered and the the bar and food around it, so the dance floor never felt empty.

Also, talk to Carla at your planning meeting.  She will have lots of suggestions.  I had initially planned on putting a lot of stuff on the "upper" portion above the ramps (like the food stations), but changed my mind after talking to Carla.
