We do not get Labor Day off this year and we didn't get anything for the 4th either.  So no days off from Memorial Day to Thanksgiving.  Great, just great.

My B&M is that I have about 50 mosquito bites from the knees down - mostly on my feet - and they're itching HORRIBLY... I am miserable right now.  Luckily I remembered to wear flip flops to work so I could take them off easily!

I had an emotional breakdown last night!  Step dad told me he might not be able to make it to the wedding because of all the treatments for his Lymphoma.  I don't know if its all the stress plus that or what but just broke down last night and today I look like a marshmellow.  Everything is all puffy and I had to blame it on allergies so I didn't get weird looks from my male boss that doesn't understand emotions!

My B&M is MIL sent us home with 1/2 a cheesecake and these amazing peanut butter butterscotch rice crispy things--hello 10 lbs! Still yummy though

I'm actually a happy camper today.  It feels like Monday, but since its not,  I don't have to go to class.  Me=Excited

My B&M is actually that I don't have any getaways to look forward to.   Hopefully we can hammer out some vacation plans soon so I can start counting the days!

Tiffany I know what you mean.  Me and Ben both always want to have something like that to look forward to.  I'm praying for a bonus so maybe we can take a cruise in December after Christmas.

Yesterday was Brad's first day at his new job and he ended up in the ER last night with a heatstroke. I hate it that I'm here and he's out there in Austin. I do not like being far away from him. My parents took great care of him last night, getting him to the hospital and getting anything else he needs. I still freaked out though. Anytime he goes into the hospital, I think the worse. As the wife of a cancer survivor, I always think that way.

He's back at work today and so far he's doing good. I'm so thankful I get to see him tonight! Interview is tomorrow!!

And no one at my office remembered... (I'm generally the one that does bday celebrations for everyone).

Oh well, Simply Fondue is tonight!

I've owned my house for about 3 years now.  It is an older neighborhood in the middle of Dallas with a very diverse population.  Two hispanic families live in the houses across from me.  Their yard may not be green (or even have grass), but they are very respectful, friendly, aren't noisy or cause problems.  I LOVE my house, neighborhood, and the people across the street from me.

FI is moving in, so we invited both of our families over for dinner on Sunday night.  FMIL walks in and the first comment is about the neighbors matress that is on the curb (for bulk trash pick up week).  Then she goes on to say how she had to park all the way down the street b/c they were taking up all the spots.  (Well, yeah, their BBQ started earlier, so they got the good spots.  Thinking to myself *maybe if you showed up on time, you would get the spot out front*)  I was really disappointed that the first time we invited her over, she totally trashed my neighborhood. 

Ahhhh... so glad there is a B&M board today.  I needed that.

Oh and Dana, I'm really sorry about your step dad.  I know that has to be hard to hear.  And I'm sorry about your turkey of a boss who doesn't understand female emotions.  I have to deal with the same thing all the time too.

And not a B&M - I'm off to get my hair and makeup done for my bridal shot this afternoon.. yea!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Mariah and Brianna!  Sorry that no one remembered your birthday Brianna.  At my office you have to bring treats on YOUR birthday.  At first I was like wtf, really? But after seeing how well it works it's actually a good idea.  Every office generally has that ONE nice person that always does things for people's birthdays and they're always stuck footing the bill.  At least this way you only have to bring treats once a year...and you get to pick something you actually like for your birthday.

My B&M:  I'm really tired of FI working in North Dakota.  He has been there for almost a month and doesn't come home until the 21st and only for a week.  AND that is the only time he is coming home before the wedding!

My B&M: Got a stomach bug or food poisoning or something.  Was up all night sick, still feeling crappy today.  Trying to figure out what to do about a work trip that was supposed to start tomorrow morning.
