Groom Gift bag

Hi Ladies,

I want to give my fiance a gift bag of essentials for his wedding day (some funny some serious). I would give it to him either at the rehearsal or have his mom give it to him the day of our wedding.

Here is what I have so far for my gift bag:
A shooter- To calm his nerves
Heavy socks- To prevent him getting cold feet

I was wondering if anyone has done this before and if so what other cute things have you included into the bag.

I am also goign to get him cuff links with his initials because he had ones from his grandpa that got stollen a few years ago so I thought I would replace them with his initials and then he can pass them down to his kids.

Awh! I didn't think of doing that, but it is a really cute idea. If he's anything like my FI, he will forget some of the necessities for the day. Put small things like cologne or deodorant in there too.

Im doing this for my FI and I collect travel items weekly from drugstores free or dirt cheap, Im a coupon girl haha. So mine will include:

Toothbrush/toothpaste incase he ate something weird and freaks
a shooter
new socks (he always has holes in his) but will get him blk and white!
deoderant travel
a snack or two

Im sure I will add others but I got time :-) Im putting it in a new gym bag for him :-)

Maybe make those heavy socks, be dress socks that go with his tux? I can see a guy not thinking of packing some...

Do him and his guys play cards? We're big card players, so maybe a deck of cards.

At first I thought this was such a cute idea, but then the more I think about it the more I hate it, if he gave me a “care package” the morning of our wedding I think I would be a little insulted,

1. I can take care of myself and remember to put my deoderant on and brush my teeth all on my own, im a big girl

2. If he sent a shooter to me I would feel like he thinks I need to have alcohol in me before I can marry him

3. Its only one more thing I would have to deal with and one more thing I would have to bring home and deal with

4. I want him to enjoy his morning and not feel bad if he didn’t get me anything, he should spend the morning relaxing and getting ready with his men,

 

 And frankly if I was a groom about to be married and my future wife sent me a care package I would be embarrassed, I know my FI would be teased to no end by his grooms men that I need to remind him to put socks on and brush his teeth.
