Bachelorette Party Gifts

Are gifts usually given to the bride at her bachelorette party?  I'm in my girlfriends wedding party and have never been to a bachelorette party before, please help!

    honestly? It's always a toss up.  I have been to numerous bachelorette parties and at some there was gift giving and at others there was not.  From my experience I have noticed that if there is gift giving there is usually a "pre-party" at the MOH or a BM house before everyone goes out and thats when the bride opens the presents.  All the presents have been "gag" gifts or lingerie items at the bachelorette party.My advice is to call the hostess (probably MOH?) and see what everyone else is doing.

    My girls included a "lingerie shower" at my bpart, so I did get gifts. otherwise, I wouldn't have. PIB of everything from my party

    If you're not sure - you could always go with something fun but inexpensive - one of my favorites is children's bath crayons (usually can find them for $5 to $10 at toy stores or Target/Walmart...)
