Quick Shower Gift Question

I'm having my first shower this weekend and I just received a gift in the mail from Dillard's.  The gift tag says it's from one of the ladies attending the shower, so do I take the gift to the shower and open it there? TIA

    No you open it and then at the shower say something like "oh and aunt sara got me the nicest toaster. You also tell her how much you like it

    They mailed it so it would have to be dragged to the shower. I would just open it, get the thank you in the mail, and thank her for it at the shower in person.
