I am getting married in November, and its a DW. I have some ides and Qs i'd like to run by you.
Let me start off by saying, I have everything a household could need. My FI has everything a household could need. We have been living together for 3 years.
Wed Reg-
I have seen at previous weddings and on invitations, Couples in similar situation have included a Bank Account or people come with a Card w/ money. My FI and I always found it wierd, but now we are in those Couples shoes and i would have no need for a $15 dollar toaster (we have two of everything in the merge) and we could use the money (who couldn't?)... BUT is this tacky?
Bridal Shower-
Like metioned before i have household stuff by two. My Mother sujested a Lingerie Party? I like this idea, b/c i love love love girly under garments, pjs, robes and lounge attire... BUT alas no such Reg exists! VS has a Wishlist, So would i have on Shower Invite a link to a special twitter account for just this Wish List as well as my general measurements.
I know some may think its icky, but if my Mother thinks its ok... Why not?
Any sugestions or ideas?
