Registry and Gift Forum

What do you think of myregistry.com?

We've been to BBB and Macy's. We're hitting Crate & Barrel because Macy's was a bit of a disappointment.

My brother used just myregistry.com. It's kinda cool that you can pull from any store.... What do you guys think?

I liked the incentives from the traditional stores. But I'm admittedly curious.

  • I love myregistry.com!  They added a bunch of new stores to the website so I am registered at Macy's, Target, Crate and Barrel and Williams Sonoma.

I did not register for cash on the website... I think that is super tacky!!!

I have had a ton of positive feedback from my wedding guests.  They like that they can see all the gifts I registered on one site.  I did have one guest complain that they had to join myregistry.com to view the registry, but whatever... can't make everyone happy.

[QUOTE]I have never used this site, but there was a line that really bothered me, " and the ability to tastefully register for cash gifts . " There is no way to tastefully ask for cash. Do you pay for this site? Do they charge your guests? I would put you registry info on your website.

<div>Myregistry does not charge anyone. The money feature is through Paypal, but you can uncheck that box (which I did). It simply lets you list everything you like from anywhere on the web in one convenient spot. I really like it.</div>
