Poll: Most Expensive and Least Expensive Registry Item

So, what's the most expensive and least expensive item you registered for?

Bonus: Most non-traditional?

For me, most expensive, a Kitchen Aid mixer for $299.  Least expensive, $4.99 flour sacks.  I love flour sacks!

The most non-traditional item we registered for is probably Mad Gab or Wii Active.

Re: Poll: Most Expensive and Least Expensive Registry Item

  • Most expensive:  Modular china/wine cabinet.  The individual pieces top out at $399 (I think), but we registered for 6 pieces so we could make a china cabinet and a wine cabinet.  Not really expecting these, but wanted to take advantage of getting 10% off for completion after the wedding!  :-)

    Least expensive: $2.99 egg whisky

Non-traditional: This float we found called the Ahh-qua Bar.  We love it, and I hope we get it.  We spend a lot of time at the lake during the summer, so we'll definitely get some use out of it!

  • Most expensive: Bed linens at dillards for $349
Least expensive: An empty spice jar for $1.99 for FI special seasoning blend.

Most unconventional: we didn't register for it, but we're asking for moving boxes/supplies, since we're moving 1000 miles away four days after the wedding.

  • Most: $360 (CDN), Le Creuset Dutch Oven
    Least: $7 (US), Potholder
Most Untraditional: I don't think we have one. T. made me register for one of the nice jewelry chests at Pottery Barn, but I suspect it's because he wants to buy it for me. That's the registry item I feel the most guilty about, at least.

Most expensive single item was our cookware, Calphalon Contemporary Non-Stick for $399.  Although I would say our most expensive items are our china (Vera Wang $139/place setting)

Least expensive were our martini glasses.  $3.95/glass

Strangest, ours is pretty traditional but I guess the only thing that's "out of place" is our bookcase from C&B.

  • Most Expensive: Our cookware and Kitchen aid Mixer - $299 each

Least Expensive: our napkin rings $2.99 each

    Bonus: Most non-traditional?

  • Most Expensive: A $250 cordless Milwaukee hammerdrill FI registered for at Farm and Fleet (a regional store) (Excluding the giant tv FI scanned because "why not?")

Least Expensive: a 98 cent spoon rest from Target. I wouldn't buy one for myself, but saw it and had to scan it!

Least Traditional: Anything on the Farm and Fleet registry (FI was like a kid in a candy store) and a good half of the Target one.
  • Most Expensive: KitchenAid Mixer or if you combine my total requested china--8 settings at $99.00 a piece! I don't really expect to get those

    Least Expensive: $2.99 linen napkins

Nothing very unusual because it's pretty much all traditional items

It seems like a lot of us put the KitchenAid mixer on registries--hope it's a good one! :)
  • least expensive:  forest animals cookie cutters (3.99 CAD)

most expensive: Hudson's Bay blanket ($319 USD)

    most unusual:
(my fiance hijacked the registry and put this on.  I laughed so hard, I'm leaving it)
It's a request for one BILLION dollars, with this picture.

  • Most expensive - every day china completer set at $150.
Least - dizzy cocktail glasses at $1.95 each

  • Most Expensive would be our cookware set.  Calphalon 12-piece anodized for $279.99

Our Most Non-Traditional Registry Item would have to be a disco ball.  =)

  • Most expensive:  Wii or Xbox 360, we haven't decided which yet! (FI prefers Xbox, I prefer Wii...we'll have to compromise, I think...)

Least expensive:  Tealight candle set, 9 for $1.99

Most unconventional: We had a ton...so maybe someone could help me with which is the "most"... My FI and I registered for all the necessaries for a fish tank, so we can get some fish together as a "first pet" after we come back from honeymoon and settle into our place.  Also, FI insisted we tag a pack of gum on one of our registries...and he wanted to tag something for me after he picked out a shaver/trimmer set for him, so he tagged a backpack/purse that I said was cute (it's coral with japanese koi fish and embroidery on it!). So...which is most unconventional?
