My fiance and I have registered at 2 stores so far. There isn't a lot of stuff that we really want, but we'd like to make some type of notation on our website that people could make a donate money to my sister who is finishing up chemotherapy in a few months and could really use some help paying off some health care expenses (in lieu of giving us a gift). Has anyone seen anyone do this? Would this be weird?
If so - does anyone have any suggestions of setting up a website for donations for her? We've all tried to help her, and I've scaled down wedding stuff in general, but honestly I'd rather money go towards her than to gifts for us anyways. I just wasn't sure of the best way to set this up. If this does seem like a tacky idea - let me know... I won't be offended... it just a thought that I wanted to bounce off people!
