Honeymoon registry only?

My fiance and I have planned a honeymoon but really need some financial help to pull it off. I've made a nice honeymoon registry but I don't know how to steer guests there. My only other registry is Target. Right now I have both on my wedding website. I would like to get rid of the Target one, but my worry is that some people really want to buy a physical gift and if I don't have a registry for gifts, they'll just buy me whatever. As of right now, I have both on the site but I have (our favorite!) next to the honeymoon registry. Any advice?

Thanks!

Wow seriously?  I've never heard a more frigid comment about what is supposed to be the most romantic trip a couple takes.

Sooo what if a couples hobby is traveling and they just LOVE to travel - whats the harm in asking close friends and family to help support that instead of physical items? A honeymoon is a celebration of love and marriage just like a wedding.

I know my post will be VERY unpopular but I think you are all beyond crazy and the more I read TK boards the more I realize this place isn't for me. To me asking for cash and asking for gifts is the same damn thing, its a donation to the couples new life together. My fiancee and I want to fill our lives with experiences - not 'stuff' - which is why we are having a honeymoon registry and let me tell you all our friends and family think it's a wonderful idea. Granted, we are not relying on the registry to fund our trip but it would be nice to upgrade a few things with the help of our loved ones. So I do think a lot of the earlier advice to the OP was good that she should plan a honeymoon they can afford first.
