How do you ask for cash on a wedding website?

My fiance and I are working on completing our bedroom set and thought about asking for cash to be used toward that on our webpage. How do you ask for money on a registry website? Do you just ask for them to send checks or should I provide a bank account number for them to deposit money into? The issue I have with the bank account is that I don't know who the money came from so i can't send Thank Yous.

Thanks for the help,
Kirk

  • Some people have enough crap in their house and just need the money to get out of debt, or pay for some larger gift they'd like.  Open your mind.

    1) Why are you resurrecting a dead thread.

    2) Did you read the posts?  No one is saying that cash is a bad gift.  They're saying that it's rude to ask for it.

    Open your eyes.
