Wow. That just makes me so sad for that puppy. What a crappy individual.

This will sound harsh, I'm sure, but will she end up doing the same thing to her kids?

dogs chew things. It's a fact.  Did she not know this when she got the dog?  Or when he chewed his "50 toys strewn all over the place?"

Funny you say that, Wendi. Her SN used to be StaciePoop.

She had a really weird 'intro thread' on SB last week where she acted like she was new, but later found out that she had to make a new name since she forgot the password to StaciePoop...but was still trying to act like a different person.

    Cray-Cray!!!!

OMG is right! I adopted my pup from the shelter when she was 5 months old. She is now 4 years old but let me tell you, the first 3 years I had her were VERY hard and there were many times when I was VERY frustrated and thought there was no hope. (she was very timid and disobedient because whoever had her for the first 5 months of her life abused and treated her really bad :( )

Anyway... Did I ever think of getting rid of her? NO! I just knew she needed me to spend more quality time with her so thats what I did and now she's a perfect little (ahem.. big) angel! I know dogs can be overwhelming but GEEZ... I hope she doesn't give up on everything this easy...

She did reveal that it was her FI that wanted to get rid of the pup once everyone dogpiled on her for being a sh!tty owner, as if that is any better. Guilty by association, girlfriend!

I have a puupy that has in her short little life (six months) has chewed up at least 4 pairs of shoes.  She is still with me.  I'm the idiot for not learning the first three times to make sure the closet door is shut.  I also get a lttle chuckle out of it because so far she has picked my favorite shoes--obviously she has good taste.  Smile

I could not imagine getting rid of her.  It would just break my heart. And, if my fiance even suggested it...there would definitely be some words.

    Oh. Em. Gee.

I didn't read all of those posts so someone may have said it.....but (at least in my non-professional training experience) puppies do bad things because they get your attention that way.

Also, I've heard of dogs doign some pretty bad/amazing things (chewing through doors, even turning knobs, unlocking doors, etc.) ...but her super puppy actually took the door OFF THE HINGES!  What the hell.... the top hinges on a door are at least 6 feet off the ground.

$20 says her FI left the doors open and is blaming it on the dog.  For real.

While I've never done that while laughing at a knottie, I know for a fact that it does hurt.

I know I'm late on this but seriouslly some people don't think! Rosie litterally ate a nice pair of black satin heeled sandals that cost 40.00 plus some white Bandilinos (that were ever so comfy) that cost about 50-60.00, plus my leopard print flats that were about 40.00.

Am I p/oed? You bet! I would never give her up. Besides, she would cry and pout 24/7 anyways.

She should invest in obediance school first before giving the dog up.

i know i am way late on this, but i am so disgusted by this girl! my dog tucker chewed on my favorite $100 steve maddens and I still wear those hoes to work bc I am not about to throw them away. oh and i still play and love one and snuggle with tucker every day. those shoes are nothing compared to the COUNTLESS pairs of underware, pj pants/shorts, and one pair of jean shorts that I have lost because he chewed them. the kicker is IT WAS ALL MY FAULT, I left them where he could get to them. this girl deserves to be slapped multiple times across the face, that precious dog deserves to be with a family that will love her and not give up on her because she ate your shoes. she is just a dumb whore

OMG that pisses me off that someone would get rid of their dog because of that.  They are dogs and chewing is what they do.  I so hope the dog find owners that actually care. This makes me cry.

if i were to list off the price tag and item that my dogs have chewed. i think i'd cry. just yesterday he ate a $90 piece of equipment. was i pissed? you bet. did i get over it...sure did. And i'm now working on blocking it out along with the rest of the things he's eaten. because it might make me go postal thinking of the money he's cost us over the past few years. would i get rid of him? no. never.
