Do people look at both registries?

I am registering at BBB and Kohls, do I put duplicate items on both registries?

I like BBB more and will do most of my registry from there, but if someone is a Kohls shopper and a BBB is not near, will they look at just one or both registries?

I usually look at every registry for the couple, but don't want a Kohls shopper to think I have registered for only 20 items, when I have 80 at BBB.

I guess it would depend on your guests and the couple.

If the guests only have one store near them, and they're not the type to go online to shop, then they likely will only look at the one near them.

If the couple are registry stalkers anyway then they could delete items off of the other registry as they are bought on one. 

With so few people wanting to purchase china, etc. anymore I think that it would be unlikely in most social circles that it would be over-purchased.  If anything it may just help the couple get enough to set their table. 

I probably wouldn't register twice for items that are almost surely going to be bought such as a $20 Mr. Coffee.  There's where duplicates become a hassle.
