Parent gift ideas

Does anyone have some ideas for parent gifts.. we are on a pretty tight budget with the wedding, and we just purchased a house so we can't spend a ton but would like to get them something nice that shows our appreciation.

Shop like it's their birthday. Maybe a gift card to their favorite restaurant, store, whatever and a nice note in their card telling them how much you appreciate them.

I found a cute frame that you can have your invitation engraved on.  They are pretty inexpensive and kinda sentimental.

We're going with nice photo frames and a promise to send them wedding albums.  We just don't have the budget pre-wedding for much more.
