I'm attending a wedding in May and the registry has been picked almost clean, so DH and I decided to buy the gift now rather than wait. Usually I have the gift sent directly to the B&G, but since it's almost two months away we had it shipped to us instead. Now I'm wondering what to do with it - should I mail it to them as the date gets closer? Give it to her in person (I see her at work almost daily) shortly before the wedding? I've come to realize that many people don't appreciate having gifts brought to the wedding, and it's OOT for us and the B&G, so I don't think that's a good option.
I'm put off by the idea of paying to ship it yet again if I send it to them, but I don't know if it would be weird to give it to her in person (at work). It's not large or heavy, and she parks close to work, so I don't think it's terribly inconvenient to do it that way, but I'm not sure if it's just sort of odd. Thoughts?
