Transportation Ideas?

We need a ride of some sort from the Old Red to the Warwick Melrose--3.1 miles/7minutes according to Google Maps.

Jay's been contacting places, and the cheapest quote he got was $70 for a Mercedes. I honestly don't care what sort of car it is as long as it is decent. I thought about asking a family member to drop us off, but all of the non-drinking ones will have enough to do already. And it would be awkward.

Any recs or ideas?

That $70 doesn't sound too bad actually.  For a one way transfer in a Lincoln towncar from The Filter Building to Hotel Palomar (approximately 4 miles) we're paying $95.

We rented a Town Car for the whole weekend for the two of us and I know that we paid more than that.  I definitely agree about the awkward part.  A few had to ride with us back to the hotel because lots of people rode together and, for some reason, there weren't enough spots for everyone at the end of the day.

    Marissa,
I know that there's going to be a gap between the ceremony and the reception.  What will you and Jay do then?  Just take lots of pictures?  Are you going to the reception in your wedding dress?

By the time the ceremony is finished, we talk to everyone, take pictures with family, and then get down to to the Old Red to take pictures of just the two of us, it will be almost time to start the reception! We're doing a hospitality suite for the guests at the hotel in the meantime

We're driving ourselves at that point, I just don't want either of us to drive after drinking

I'd just pay the $70; thats the best price you'll get. And at that point, you will think it is the best money every spent. :)
