I'm 18 days away from my wedding and we've been receiving gifts and checks for the last week or so. Is it ok for me to send the thank you card before the wedding to show my appreciation for the gift or is it proper to wait until after the wedding to write the thank you ("it was so great to see you at the wedding", etc)? If I have a choice I want to write them now and keep on top of it!
