Gift for parents who aren't contributing?

Ok, so the wedding is in exaclty a week...yippee and we don't know if we should buy both sets of parents a gift eventhough one set isn't contributing at all to the wedding.

Re: Gift for parents who aren't contributing?

  • Buy gifts for both sets.  Give the presents in private in case you want to give more to the parents who are contributing.  But remember, unless one set is really absent, they did raise the bride or groom and should get something that says, "Thank you for playing this role in my life."
  • Even if they aren't contributing to the wedding financially they did have a lot to do with the wedding.  One of you wouldn't be here if it weren't for them!  I would definately buy gifts for both sets.
No, that's not my real name. And FH's name isn't Nun (as in Nun ya bidness) either.
