Stoneleigh Hotel Reception Pricing & Opinions

Has anyone received a recent quote from the Stoneleigh Hotel for a Saturday evening reception? I have tried to contact their coordinator several times now and she is not the best at returning calls or emails.  

I have a decent budget to work with but if the prices are sky-high, then I need to move on to some place else.  Wondering if anyone has recent pricing or is having their reception there and could share with me info on price per head for dinner & bar, minimums, any rental fees, etc. Also, are they more responsive once you've booked a wedding?  I don't have the best feeling about it based on their ability to return phone calls!

I went to a wedding there years ago (before the renovation) and it was the most gorgeous wedding I've been to in Dallas, so I'm sure it would be even nicer now in the new space!

Have you tried calling the front desk and ask to speak to the event coordinator or manager directly.  I'm really sorry to hear they aren't responding to you.  Honestly that would probably cause me to move on and look for another space.

I do agree though its a gorgeous venue.

I'm having my oot guests stay there.  Leigh has been pretty good about returning my calls, but I think she jsut handles the guest rooms and someone else does the events.  I can pass along the few thing I have from there but it is mainly for rehearsal dinner stuff.

My boss is getting married there in October.  They have a $16K minimum (although they did lower it for my boss, as their wedding will only be around 75 people).  mralpha is getting married there in October also so maybe she will see this and chime in.

I looked at it for my wedding--I thought the event planner was horrible but I think once you actually book there, she's fine.  She emailed and told me my date was gone an hour before my appointment to come see her.  And she didn't seem real tore up about it either.
