It would be awesome, though I'm kind of having second thoughts. I wonder how much stress it adds? And it always seems like a who-can-outspend-who contest...our budget is nice, but nothing like some of the girls on that show.

I kind of hate to turn my wedding into a contest too...I guess I'll just wait and see if I get an email back

True... I've only seen it a few times but I'm sure the show probably helps fund some of these spending frenzies to make it interesting.    I don't know though.

Sadly, I think people on that show could have done so much better. I haven't been very impressed with many of the weddings. Like the cocktail party in Miami that was on a Tuesday night? And they only had one drink per guest and then ran out of food??? Anyway, I haven't seen anything that has blown me away.

Ahh! Got an email back. Jay is rolling his eyes at me. I don't know what to think, but I'm going to fill out the form they gave me anyway. I don't know how the in-laws or the Catholic church we are getting married at would feel about this, though

Marissa, I  have some of the same concerns but I figure what the heck, let's just see what happens for now and make the final call later.

I just got an email back..

I like that show.  I wish they would pair brides that have similar budgets.  Seems the bride with the $40,000 budget always wins against the ones that have less than $10,000.

Whose Wedding is it anyway is also looking and want to tape in May, June, and July.  Go to realitywanted.com

I tried to get them to wait until October, but something about recording deadlines.  blah, blah, blah.  My wedding would be awesome to film!

    Good Luck Girls!

I already changed my mind...especially after going back and watching some clips. I'm not enough of a bitch and I don't want to have to watch girls sniping about the wedding I worked so hard on a few months later. Plus, I know I would be focused on the show and after 6+ dang years of waiting I should be focused on Jay!

I saw an episode where the lady had a small cheap wedding just before getting on a cruise ship, and I think she won! if I remember correctly.
I want to say that was the very first episode.

But your right, as more episodes air, they get more and more expensive, and it becomes a spending contest.
