NWR: The Dump

Has anyone ever been? We're particulary looking for rugs and I heard they have nice ones. Is it worth my time driving all the way out there?

I have!  Unfortunately I haven't looked at the rugs.

It seemed to be really upscale furniture brands with very deep discounts (but still very expensive IMO).   I was not overly impressed with the store.

I have heard a lot about their rugs too though, I bet it is worth the drive.

I've been once.  They've got a lot but I don't know if it's really worth the drive.  Have you tried Home Goods?  They have some pretty rugs there.  I've had my eye on a few and I think they're really well priced.

    I would try home goods.
IMO, the Dump is an excellent place if you have a very large home and want permanent pieces....the kind where you say this is the last dining table I will buy, etc.

Cool, thanks for the feedback. We have 2 homes right now (long story), so I may check it out just in case. I'm typically outlet shopper or go to market. I hate full retail! :) Thanks everyone for your feedback.

I'd skip the dump.  I found it very disorganized and the prices weren't anything better than a "regular" store to me.

Look at World Market for rugs.  They have a huge selection online, though not sure how many are in stores.
