Wedding reception and ceremony that allows outsde catering??

So my fiance and I have been ttrying to find a place that allows outside catering, his uncle owns a restraunt that will be doing the catering for a very minimal fee.

We need to have the reception and the ceremony at the same place, and we don't want to spend more than $2,500 on the venue. If we have to rent charis, tables, table clothes, etc. then we wouldn't want to spend more than $1,500 or close to it... Does anybody know of  venue in the Dallas area that would meet these expectations? We have been looking for about three months and we just can't find anything that works!

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!!

This is going to sound weird, but if you are interested in having your wedding in Fort Worth, the YWCA in Fort Worth is a historic building that has a full kitchen that allows you to bring your own caterer.  It's very reasonably priced too. It's GORGEOUS!!!  A friend of mine is getting married there this October.

The Old Red on a Friday or Sunday is about that price.

The Colleyville Center in Southlake is only $1000 (but books quickly)

7 Senses is $3500 for a Saturday night, but the place is so cool, I would check it out. You wouldn't need to do any decorations/floral arrangements because the place is so elaborate in itself (7senses.biz)

Also Winfrey Point at White Rock would work for you too (also books quickly)

For what it's worth - I don't recommend Celebrations in Highland Village... the coordinator isn't helpful or very friendly and was completely unorganized.  Also, if you're going to opt for that location, you will need to rent both ballrooms because they don't have a place to have an outdoor ceremony, and if they book another party there the same day, you and that party with be divided by a partitian.  It's just kind of odd.

We're using Chestnut Square in McKinney and they let you bring in pretty much whatever you want.  The rental fee includes chairs and tables and I believe it ran us right around $2200.  They have a historical chapel or you can choose to get married in their chapel garden or one of their historical houses and then they have the reception house right next door with a pretty pergola area for dancing, etc.  You can check it out at chestnutsquare.org but trust me, the pictures seem really old fashioned and don't do it justice so you should visit it if it seems to fit your preferences.  Best of luck.

We are getting married at the Rose Chapel in Fort Worth, they have an adjacent ballroom that we are using for our reception.

They allow outside catering and alcohol and were $2100 for a Friday night. Slightly more for a Saturday. This includes the table, chairs and table linens, use of a caterer's kitchen and oak bar.

Fairview Farms in Plano on 75 is extremely reasonable and flexible. We had outside catering there. Loved it. I also looked at Chestnut Square in McKinney and liked it but it was a bit too small for what we wanted.

Try the Texas & Pacific in FW.
That is where we are going to have our reception.
You can bring your own catering.

The Colleyville Center actually charges $1400 for Sunday thru Friday and $1600 for Saturday. That includes chairs and tables but they charge a fee to set them up for you.

I got married at Chestnut Square and did my reception at the Heard Craig Hall, on the other side of the Square in McKinney.  We had our own caterer and brought in beer and wine (no liquor).  Your caterer has to have their minimum insurance requirements and you must have a bartender serve the alcohol.
