Sorry to hear about everyone's crappy weekend. My weekend was actually ok but I do have to say that this new layout is killing me, it makes me hate logging on, takes forever for the pages to load. So thats my B&M for the day

Hope everybody's weeks go better than their weekend did! My only B&M is that FI got nominated for an AMAZING job opportunity last week, and after telling me he should hear back by 11/19, there is STILL no word! I should have known not to trust any time frame the Army gives him... I just hope we aren't sitting on pins and needles in anticipation for something that ends up falling through...

I'm late to this because the new format and my work computer still don't get along. BUT..

My B&M (and maybe it should have been on Flame Free) is that retail stores needs to back the eff off of Christmas music/decor and just let it be Thanksgiving for once.  

It doesn't help that I am kind of a humbug this year.  Just not into it yet.

My B&M is that I'm exhausted. I couldn't fall asleep until late, then when DH got home(he works nights), he wouldn't stop moving around. Needless to say, I'm running on about 4 hours sleep... not near enough for me!

I wish it was Friday because I would totally flame my dad's kidney doctor and Doctor's Hospital (and they are normally terrific).  Yesterday, Dr. C told my dad he could go home and came back in within 60 seconds and said he couldn't send him home with a clear conscious.  They pulled five or six vials of blood last night at six and pulled another nine this morning.  None of the testing (in this instance) is being done on sight.  Dr. C came in this morning and told my dad that the test results wouldn't be back for a day or two and that he would push for my dad to get out tomorrow more than likely.  W. T. F.  He upset my dad, who upset my mom who upset me and all for nothing????  So we're now going to go on with the regular plans, which I guess is good.  AND my dad's not digesting his food properly and they told us that we had to go get him the OTC medicine to help him.  Yes, I had to leave my visit with my dad to go get him some OTC medicine.

Julie - I'm sorry youre struggling so much with the Dad/Dr situation. What a pain! Keep us posted on how he is doing, though.

So, whats up with your IL's? Are they still coming regardless of your Dad and Bill's health issues? I think you have a pretty legit reason to "cancel" Thanksgiving. You have enough going on with a sick dad and husband; just do something low key and low stress.

I have nothing to B&M about!! Today I subbed for the librarian at my old high school and it made me want to change my life plans and become a librarian.

Speaking of stinky B&Ms, I just got home from work and our apartment smells like cat pee, and we dont even have a cat! GRRRR!!! Anyone know how to get the pee smell out?? lol. This sucks!

Dang it does seem like everyone had a crappy weekend. Oh well, my week def got better because my mom told me that my dad got 4 tickets to the Cowboys game on thursday from somebody that he works with and all the kids(haha 19 yo, 16 yo, FI and I) get to go!

That means I'm going to the stadium twice this week.
