Engagement pictures tomorrow! Last minute advice?

hey girls!

We are less than 8 months away from the wedding. We are getting our engagement pictures done tomorrow, finally!

We are Dallas Cowboys fanatics so we are starting at the Dallas Cowboys stadium to shoot some pictures. Then we are headed to the Las Colinas canals for the second session.

Any last minute advice from the experienced knotties out there?!?

Thanks in advance!!

Okay, take it from me, DO NOT try to stray too much away from your normal beauty routine. If you feel like your face/eyes do not look right DO THEM AGAIN. I have big time issues with dry face and need tons of moisturizer... well I didn't put enough on and tried to suffer through it and it literally affected the way that I looked/smiled (because my face was cracking/pulling/wrinkling where it normally does not)... I love love love my pictures, but I was not "myself" in them. I ended up having to do a last minute fix and basically jacked up my face makeup and so I don't look the way I normally do.

Also, try to relax (lol!). Having different outfits really helps!!

Dress comfortably.  You'll be on the ground, lying down, in weird positions, etc.  Just relax and have a great time!

Have a bunch of clothing options.  Your photographer will let youknow what is going to look best at different locations.  Also, bring your emergency beauty kit - make up, brush, spray, wipes, etc.  You never know what may happen :P

OHH and I'm sooo glad that I brought one shirt that was a higher neckline. At one point we were laying on our stomaches and that would have only worked in one of my outfits. The other ones would have had the girls falling out pretty  badly, I think. LOL

Um... a change of shoes.  I wore heels in all my pictures, but we walked a lot - especially at the canals.  So, I brought flip flops to walk in and just slipped my heels on for the pictures.

Have fun!  We did an outfit change, and props and just had a fun time together.  Also, some positions your photographer may put you in may seem a little off at first, but those ended up being some of my favorite pictures!

Great suggestions everyone! When I get everything ready tonight I will make sure I have a bag of all my essentials. We already have 4 outfits picked out but I will bring a few extra shirts just incase. Good call on the flip flops for walking as well! Thanks again. I will make sure to post my pictures when my photographer is finished editing!

    1. Relax :)

    2. Bring a list of "must have" if you have them. I honestly had a list of "must-have" pictures, but as soon as we started I knew I wouldn't need them. :)

    3. Wear comfortable shoes or have a spare pair like lacey said. In our e-pics when we were running in the field. I had the BIGGEST blister on my heel. It was very painful running. If I had to do it over again, I would bring an extra pair.

    4. Props are fun :)

5.Speak up if you aren't feeling it!
