Who walks her??

Hey ladies, So I asked this question on my "May 2011" board but i figured the more answers the better.

 I was just wondering who are you having walk your mom down the aisle? My dad will obviously be walking me and my brother is a Groomsmen, I originally thought one of the bestmen (he has 2, one will be up at the alter with him already) could walk her down and then meet FI and other Bestman. But then someone told me the son is suppose to do it but since my brother is a groomsman he would have to walk her down and then walk around and back down with a bridesmaid, so just wanted to see what some of you ladies were doing. Thank you in advance! :)

    We had 2 ushers in addition to the GMs and the ushers escorted my mom and my widowed grandmother.  I don't see anything wrong with your brother escorting your mom and then going back to escort a BM.  You might want to ask your mom what she prefers.

    You should let your mom decide who she wants as an escort. If she chooses your brother, it should not be a problem for him to walk your mom and return to line up for the processional.

     It could be anyone. It could be a grandfather, uncle ( her brother)  or anyone really . You could have both moms walk down together even.

    H walked both moms down the aisle at the same time.  It was sweet.

    Ask her who she prefers.

    Why wouldn't your brother walk his mom down the aisle, he can go back and join the other groomsmen after he does that.   When DD got married I asked that my son escort me. My son is getting married in a couple months and he'll escort me then too.,

    My brother is going to walk momma down the isle. Even if your bro is in hte wedding party he can still do it no problem!
