Moms and Maids

Replacing a bridesmaid.

Recenlty one of my bridesmaids got into a tight money situation and had to drop out of my wedding. I totally understood, however I am down a bridesmaid. I want to ask another friend of ours, however I am worried she will be offended at being second choice. Also, it is kind of late in game to ask her to buy the dress and other items right away. Should I ask her or just leave my party as it is?

Leave it.  You'll offend both the person that had to be replaced as well as the person you ask to be a second string BM.
Holy Crap. We survived the first year!

Just leave it as it is.  She would feel bad about being a second choice.

Ditto PPs.  Leave your WP as it stands; you don't need even sides.

Replacing her is an insult to everyone.  Just leave it as is.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
