Moms and Maids

just started planning. MOH gift for bride?

One of the bridesmaids and I (maid of honor), who are best friends of the bride, are meeting the bride tonight for our first planning activity. We're walking through her 3 choices for venue. I wanted to bring her a small gift/something just to make it special and fun. Any ideas? Doesn't seem like the right time for flowers and I'm not crazy about a wedding magazine (lord knows she's already bought plenty).

Is she a drinker? Nothing like a nice glass of wine to get you through the stress of planning.

What about chocolates of some sort (a box, some truffles, etc.)?

Yup.  A bottle of champagne or sparkling wine would certainly be festive!

Maybe one of those little squishy stress balls?
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

Wine!! or Champagne-- totally classic wedding drink. Doesn't even have to be fancy champagne, you can get a decent bottle for 5 bucks at your local grocery store. Maybe some cute wine/champagne glasses to go with it? I love Relax riesling-- delicious, and fruity enough that even non-wine drinkers will like it, but not too fruity to turn off wine drinkers. Have fun!
