Peoples Reactions

I have been crossdressing since I was about 5 and now that I am going to get married, I plan on wearing a wedding gown. My future wife is fine with it and has been very supportive of me. Some of my friends and family know about me, but most do not. I am not sure what kind of reaction I will get from those who have no idea about me. I have always dreamed of being a bride and want everything to go well. Do you think people will be accepting of me?

You will probably get mixed reactions from your guests.

If you have always dressed as a male for other family functions and suddenly show up at your wedding in a full bridal regalia, some of your guests are going to be surprised. You could ease them into the idea, before hand, by talking about the kind of wedding dress/flowers/shoes etc...  you'd like to wear and occasionally dressing up for other family events.

    Congratulations and happy planning.

</div><div>Ditto. I think you need to go about this gradually for best results. Is your family very conservative or more liberal about these sort of things? How about your FIs?

[QUOTE]Your wedding is still a year away, so I'd recommend outting yourself to your friends who don't know. They'll be prepared, and it won't be such a shock. It'll also give you the opp to cut your guest list of those who out themselves as false friends. I bet you'll look awesome in the gown. Have a glorious wedding, good health, long life and happiness.
