Bridal Shower Towel Cake with Hat Boxes

Hey Ladies,

My sister's bridal shower is approaching and the bridesmaids and I want to make the towel cake.

Ideally we would like to make the towel cake with hat boxes in each of the layers so we can put lingerie in the boxes.

I've seen these type of towel gift cakes before but I can't find the directions online.  Does anyone have any instructions on how to make one of these?

I would follow these directions then just wrap the towel around the box instead of itself.
