Sorry but to do something that drastic sounds like there are issues between the sisters that go deeper and further than the wedding.  I wholeheartedly agree though that MOHs and BMs should be treated with nothing less than love and respect and be expected to do nothing more than show up, stand up and smile for the pictures.

I think that your friend's sister is rude.  But I think that your friend is childish to do something so drastic for the sole purpose of p!ssing off her sister.  It seems to me that one can tell that they're sisters.  They're both responding poorly to each other.  Sorry.
"Trix, it's what they/our parents wanted. Why so judgemental? And why is your wedding date over a year and a half ago? And why do you not have a groom's name? And why have you posted over 12,000 posts? And why do you always say mean things to brides?" palegirl146

How old are these people? They can't be above the age of 15. They both sound like entitled brats.

DD, really?  It didn't even have anything to do with you.

Muffin's Mom - you didn't miss much. The friend is going to cut her hair short so she can't wear the updo that her sister wants her to wear for her wedding. Clever, right?
