Parents gifts

What are some inexpensive gifts to give the parents?  I'm having a hard time figuring out anything.

Are you asking for both sets of parents, or just yours?

Personally for me it would be dependent upon how much involvement they have in the wedding planning. No, I don't mean that if they did X amout of work a gift should be X dollars.

For example, if they were very involved in the planning, they may be just as stressed as you are. A gift certificate to a nice restaurant or spa or some other relaxing activity.

If they were less involved, either by choice or due to circumstance, maybe a photo album from the wedding and pre wedding activities.

    Just a thought.

A letter, from you, in your own hand (not computerized) expressing your love, thanks, whatever.  Mine is in my desk and I look at it and it still makes me misty.  No "thing" comes close....
My baby girl is a married woman...and now my baby girl HAS a baby girl. Time unfolds in such an amazing way. I've been blessed!

I think the parents gifts should be more on the sentimental side.  You're really not thanking them for that one day, but I viewed it as a  "thanks for everything" gift.  One thing I got them that my parents loved (with my wedding right before the holidays) was an engraved ornament with a message and our wedding date on it.
