Hi girls!

So I'm in a videography contest on Facebook that ends tomorrow at 4PM! I just got an email last night from the studio saying it's between me and one other couple! It's so close and last night we had gained a 75-vote lead and I wake up this morning and they passed us by 10 overnight (a little weird)!! I swear this contest will be the death of me! :(

Anyway, I wanted to ask anyone here who can vote for us to PLEASE do so if you don't mind. I would really appreciate the support.

    Just so you know:  these requests are against knot rules, so you've been reported.  And you should hope it gets deleted, because what generally happens around here is that people WILL go to the website, and vote for anyone but you.

    These requests usually turn out poorly for the asker (you).  All of us are trying to have affordable weddings, and we aren't soliciting votes from strangers on the internet.  In fact - a lot of knotties will go vote for the opposite couple.  I'd delete any of these posts you made and try to do some damage control.

    Rules of theknot board.

    No soliciting of any kind on the message boards or in the chat room -- it is neither allowed nor appreciated by the community.

    The reason why it is looked bad upon is because there are SOOOOO many contests out there for Weddings and I can't imagine how many post we would get of Brides begging for votes. If you post this on other boards some regs get peeved and vote for the other couple. I'm not going to vote either way but just a warning for you.
