Mom's wedding dress

My daughter is planning a budget wedding and would be interested in using my wedding dress if we could have it remade into a style that she likes. Does anyone have any experience in this? Does anyone know of any seamstresses/tailors in the New York/New Jersey/Pennsylvania area that specialize in this? Any leads would be really appreciated! Thanks!

    If you look to the lefthand column, you will see "Local Wedding Boards". If you click on it, it should expand. You can click on the board closest to you and ask for recs there. They would probably have a better idea of seamstresses in the area.
