All BridesMEN??

I grew up with 3 brothers and growing up I gravitated toward guys as friends.  All of my closest friends are guys and when it came down to trying to find a hand ful of women to be my bridesmaids I just couldnt come up with any names aside from distant cousins and aquaintences.  Would it be totally wierd to have all guys on both sides?  I'm thinking of having blue and purple as my colors so i'd have the bridesmen wearing purple and the groomsmen wearing blue. What do you all think?  Any cute photography ideas?

I think that would be great! The people you choose to stand up for you are the ones you are closest to.
    I fully support you! :)

Go for it!  I'm just having my brother as Brother-of-Honor, but if I had bridesmaids, there would definitely be a few bridesMEN included!  Do what feels right, not what is traditional or "normal" or "looks best in pictures".  If men are your closest friends, then pick them.  I really like the idea of different color ties to indicate which side they're on!

I love the idea.  It is very important to have the people closest to you standing up at the alter, regardless of gender.  It would be really nice to have your fi's attendants in one color and yours in the other, I think it would be kind of cool to differentiate the 2 sides. However, if you all want them to wear blue for example, that would look great as well.

Not weird at all, you choose the people you want next to you on your big day regardless of gender.

I think its fine. Now are the guys okay wearing purple? Maybe you can do black suits with purple and blue vest or ties?
