Wedding day hair appts

How early did you/are you having your hair done?
My ceremony is at 4pm. Is 8 am too early to get my hair done?
 
The salon said it will take 2-3 hrs to complete my do & I am having my make up done at home at 12:30pm

It depends on what else you have planned for the day.  We're doing hair at 9:00 and starting makeup at 10:30.  Our ceremony isn't until 5:00, but we're doing all of our photos beforehand, so we have to be ready before 2:00.

Normally hair is done first.  I have never heard of hair taking 3 hours but as long as you can get home for makeup in 30 minutes, I would change the hair appointment to 9.

we have a 3pm ceremony. we are going to a spa at 8am, first we are doing pedicures, then nails, then hair, then makeup, and dont by noon!

We are getting hair started around 7, ceremony isn't until 6, but doing pics early.  I know my hair won't move.

My wedding was at 6pm and my pics were at 2. I started hair and makeup at 8:30 and was out of the salon by noon.

2:00 ceremony, first look photos are at noon. I have seven bridesmaids plus my mom and his mom. We're invading the salon at either 7:30 or 8:00 (still ironing out those details) and we're all getting hair and makeup done there. 

I'm having a spa day with my mom and sisters the day before and we'll do mani/pedis then.
