Venues: The Orchard/Moon River Ranch

Went and saw The Orchard in Azle yesterday, gorgeous and everyone was so nice!

My other pick is Moon River Ranch, South of Waco. Haven't been there yet hopefully going next week!

As anyone been married at either of these or have any information on them? Pros, cons, etc?

Sorry to chime in since I haven't actually seen either venue, but I wanted to ask your opinion of the "drive" to The Orchard. The venue isn't close to me, so I haven't made it up there yet. When I Google Mapped the location, it seemed like an unattractive drive into the venue. What did you think?

I haven't been to Moon River Ranch before but a friend of mine did have her wedding their. It looked beautiful from her pictures on FB. She is the one on their website when you hit weddings.

When you visit it take lots of pictures! That helped me narrow down my venue after I went back and  looked at all of the photos. Things look different when you take a second look.

I live in Fort Worth/Burleson area...the drive there did seem very long and boring but once you enter the property it is very nice! If we have the wedding there I will definately be putting signs along the highway for directions because the entrance from 199 is easy to miss!

I love all of your friends pictures then! HAHAHA We are going on Wednesday then hopefully deciding on a venue Thursday!

We decided to jump in head first and get married this November like we originally planned instead of waiting! Never thought I'd plan my wedding in 5 months!
