B&M Monday

You know it's gotta be something for me to start this

So on our way to our engagement pictures on Friday I was driving in the left lane of 35 with Chris and my mom, when my mom looked at the window and saw a car in the middle lane drifting into our lane.  The lady drove into my car.  I was pissed!  We pulled over, exchanged info, I took pictures on my iPhone and all that.  Thankfully everyone was ok, and it wasn't too much damage, so we both drove away. 

The engagement shoot was a blast!!!

Saturday, I call her insurance to file the claim. After giving all the information, I get a call back that afternoon saying they need to investigate because she is saying it wasn't her fault.  Really?!?!  I'm so ticked cause now it's going to drag this out.  Hopefully they will be able to see from the pictures that I sent, that she was at fault based on the skip marks and just the logistics of where the damage was.

Oh no!  I am so sorry that happened to you llc2011!  I hope that it gets resolved quickly.  How horrible of her to try and pull that!

My only B&M is that it's Monday... and I had to stay up late doing a final.  BOO!!

What a PITA, llc!  But I've had a similar experience (and my parents work in car ins. so I hear stories).  Stick to your testimony.  The insurance companies deal with this so often they have a huge BS-o-meter and are usually able to get the truth. 

I need a weekend to recover from my weekend.

My B&M is also that it's Monday.

This isn't really a B&M, but I thought I'd share. I chopped my hair off on Saturday. Still trying to decide if I like it.

CL buyers are a PITA.  I had a ton of people requesting to come by and see some furniture we had listed, and once I gave them our phone number to make arrangements, they dropped off the face of the earth. 

Then I got to work and my boss tells me about these people who murder people selling stuff on CL.

What the F are we supposed to do with all our extra furniture?!?!

Marlene, I love it!  I am going back blonde today and I cannot WAIT.  Still debating whether to grow my PWC back out or not.  It's in that in-between stage right now and I hate it.

Lauren--that sucks!  Keep us posted.

I told my district at the beginning of the year that I would have too many classes to actually teach them all next school year.  I was patted on the head and sent away like I was an annoying child.  Now, they see that I wasn't lying and they are asking me to come up with solutions.  I told them the only solution that made sense but they definitely didn't want to hear that either.

my b&m is that my allergies are seriously ruining my life right now. the congestion, coughing, drainage, pain/pressure... yuck yuck yuck.

Lauren, I know exactly what you are going through. Remember that accident that I was in in November. Well his insurance is still saying it's not his fault and now our insurance is taking them to court. I don't know how people can lie about that stuff. It's not like they hurt somebody, it's just cosmetic damage.

My B&M is that 2 people didn't show up to work on friday and so it was extremely busy. I am mad at those people. I show up, why can't they?

That's exactly it! I mean the dent on my car is so small, but I don't know if there's any other damage.  I wish she wouldn't drag it out and cause me stress.

Lauren, I'm sorry that happened to you on your engagement picture day! I hope it works out for you. I was going to ask how the pictures went, but I guess I know now.

My B&M is that I couldn't get any sleep last night because of my allergies. I couldn't breath so I couldn't sleep and now I'm in a terrible mood. I've warned my students that I'm grumpy so hopefully they won't act crazy today.

My B&M for today is that I HATE RUNNING.  I've been doing couch to 5k, and I thought that if I just stuck with the plan and kept going, by the end of it I would lose a little weight and be all addicted to the runner's high and whatnot.  Well, 9 weeks later and I think I've maybe lost 2 pounds and I STILL HATE IT.  Blurg!

Lauren- I am so sorry!  I'm glad everyone is okay!

My B&M is that only 35 people from my invite list are attending the wedding.  The rest are FI's.  He has a bigger family and most of his friends are our mutual friends so it is not a big deal.   I'm really just disappointed in my family.

Aww, Tiffany I'm sorry.  I remember having my entire family in Houston tell me the week of my wedding they weren't coming and how disappointed I was.  Just remember to focus on the ones that WILL be there rather than the ones that won't.

And I still hate that I can't change my stupid avatar.  Or this siggy--so get used to this pic because it will be here awhile apparently.

I'm sorry to hear that Lauren! 

My B&M is that I'm really tired of people asking me about stupid stuff now that the wedding is so close.  Like my own mother who originally said she did not want professional hair and makeup called me up last night to see if I could get her some appointments.  I have so many little loose ends to tie up right now, I really can't play travel agent to arrange everyone else's itineraries, too.

Thanks everyone! Unfortunately I just got the news from my insurance agent that without any independent witness, it will probably just be a "she said, she said" type of thing where neither side will admit liability.

It just stinks that I get hit and she gets away with it.  But to make me feel better I just keep looking at my teasers. Here's the other one
