Hey Ladies!
I have just recently found my holy grail foundation! It is by Makeup Forever, and it is called Mat Velvet. It is so awesome! I have very sensitive, acne prone skin, combination skin. It has been so hard for me to find a foundation that deals with my sensitivity, dryness, and oiliness. This does more than it's job, It makes my skin look like it is airbrushed. It is also awesome for wedding day photos because it is a matte foundation without light reflecting qualities such as an SPF. It is pricy, $34 for a small tube, but it lasts a long time, and it is worth it for my problematic skin. Another awesome feature is that this foundation lasts all day!
This is my "face" regimen
1. Moisturize- Sephora Instant Moisture
2. Prime- MUFE HD microperfecting primer
3. Foundation- MUFE Mat Velvet (I use the Sephora Platinum Air brush #55 to apply my foundation)
4. Conceal- Mac Studio Finish (great for covering blemishes!)
5. Finish- HD microfinish powder (dust on face to seal the foundation, leaves a beautiful velvety finish. I either use my sephora airbrush, or a fluffy powder brush.)
Wow! Sounds like so much work, but it is so worth it! I love this foundation so much and it is definitely worth it to me. The products are pricy, but I am into high end makeup so it does not really bother me. I just sacrifice somewhere else. I could probably get my makeup professionally done, but I love doing it myself. (I wish I had went to school to be a makeup artist)
