What perfume are you wearing?

I can't decide on my signature scent.  Any suggestions on what I should check out?

Perfume is such a personal thing because of body chemistry scents smell differently on people.  Go to the local department store and try a few, but not too many because they will all start to smell the same.

  • I wore what I wear everyday - Daisy by Marc Jacobs.

I also wore what I wear everyday. I am not a perfume person; I'm a body splash person, so I wore my favorite scent from Victoria's Secret. Nothing fancy, but I wanted to smell like myself, KWIM? I also wore that exclusively on our HM. Now whenever I wear it or smell it, it reminds me of our wedding and HM, which I love.

    Vacation
  • When I lived in Europe for a summer, I wore one scent exclusively that I never wore any other time. Now when I smell it, it takes me back to summer of 2006!
I plan to do something similar for wedding weekend/honeymoon.
I'm going to go to Sephora and just shop around... I'm not picky.

I'm planning on wearing my normal everyday perfume - I Love Love by Moschino.

  • I'm wearing Pure by DKNY. I want to be able to smell it and think of my wedding day also :)
  • Try the philosophy line...Amazing Grace, Pure Grace, Falling in Love Grace or Unconditional Love Grace.  They are very light but very becoming scents that are flattering.
  • I found my perfume through Sephora...they have a neat tool where you can search for perfumes by scent notes or families (floral, woodsy, spicy, or even search for rose, sandalwood, etc.). I smelled quite a few in the story, and the girl working there put together a handful of sample-size vials so I could test them at home and see how they smelled throughout the day. Highly recommend it, as some perfumes smell like one thing when you spray and another a few hours later.
