Help with ceremony room (Stoneleigh)

Hi there gals!!!  How is everyone?  It's been a few weeks for me and I hope I haven't missed too much.

I need some help today.  Bill and I went to the Stoneleigh because we are still deciding on which ceremony room to use.  Well I wanted to ask all my friends on facebook but he thought it would be better to ask you gals since yall are bias.  Will you help?  I have put two video links here.

This one is downstairs and it will be what is called a ceremony in the round.

Upstairs near the penthouse where we will have the reception is the second possible location.

So tell me what you think?  Of course I am thinking I will have to do a lot of lighting downstairs and spend a bit more money to decorate but then upstairs candles and flowers would probably do!

Thanks for your help and input!  I can't wait to hear!

hmm I don't know. I think both spots are great.  The first one is much more intimate and it does seem like the guests will be closer to you but I also love the traditional feel of option B.    Maybe some of the other girls will favor one over the other.  I honestly can't decide which one I like better, either.

Oooh, no I like the first one.  I LOVE the idea of you being surrounded by your guests and I love the double doors that you come through.  Much more dramatic!

I vote the first.  But both are lovely.

The Stoneleigh is where we are having our OOT guests stay and where we're staying  the wedding night.  I love the penthouse.  I think that space is so cool.  We contemplated having our rehearsal dinner there but too expensive with room and food for that night.

I think you should keep it all in the penthouse.  It'll be a great flow for the guests to go from ceremony out to that bar area.

They are both nice, but I like the penthouse room (#2) best.

I like the second one better. I think the mirror and the fireplace are beautiful!

Another vote for the second room. I wouldn't like that the guests would be practically right on top of me in the first room.

I love the first room, I really like in-the-round seating for weddings. I think it is different and romantic.

The Penthouse! I think the first option is kind of awful actually. With those columns I think it would be hard to see anything.

One more thing-- I also like the fact that guests will be upstairs for both ceremony & reception. Having to herd them up from the first floor might be a pain.

Thanks gals for your advice.  I appreciate the thoughts.  This helps.

The reception will be up in the penthouse actually after the ceremony in one of those rooms.  My FI was leaning towards the 1st room when I was leaning towards the second room.  Now he has decided maybe the second.  He likes the fact that it will all be upstairs.  Also if we chose the first room what if it was raining?  I couldn't enter through the double doors.

Im still on the fence on this one!
